Washington Court House Event – Saturday (February 24, 2007)
PSI was asked to investigate a private residence in Washington Court House on Saturday
February 24, 2007. It really began to snow pretty good before we headed out. The roads were
really treacherous but me made it there with no problem. The residents indicated that a number
of incidents had occurred at this location, actually for a number of years. The house itself had
been built sometime in the 1800’s.
The incidents reported were not in any one location but had occurred at different times and in
different rooms of the house. Some of the incidents included a can that had somehow gotten
smashed, clothes being folded, a shadow being seen on the back porch and then go from the
utility room to the archery of the kitchen. Footsteps had been heard at one time, heard the back
door open on another occasion, sounds in the walls and near the stairway, the sound of a female
sneeze, and a phone call from someone who had asked about a deceased grandmother. The
resident dialed star 69 and found that the call came from a number that did not exist. They
believed they saw a small pale face at the stairway on another occasion.
We met with residents, went over our forms, got a tour of the location while taking EMF readings.
We then decided on where best to set up our equipment. We were there for a number of hours.
After reviewing our video evidence, pictures taken, audio evidence, etc… no paranormal activity
was discovered. We met with the clients later and relayed our findings.
This house has a lot of history and further research into its history would be merited. Members
present included Scott Fulkerson, Donnie Shepherd, Mark Stewart and Ron Fulkerson.
